對於熱敏電阻最常見的評價不外乎價格優勢、各種不同的引腳封裝以及準確度:
一、價格 在大多數情況下,熱敏電阻單一元件的價格比IC 溫度感應器低。然而,為
了將熱敏電阻的阻值轉換成電壓值,需要一個精度為1%的上拉電阻,以便獲得準確
的讀數;如果需要以數位方式讀出熱敏電阻的值,則必須再加用帶有不同介面(如I2C
或SPI)的類比數位轉換器(ADC)。相較之下,單獨一顆IC 溫度感應器晶片即可讀出
電壓值,而不需外加元件。如果需要以數位方式讀出溫度值,也可輕易找到具不同輸
出介面的單晶片數位IC 溫度感應器。因此,以整體系統價格來說,採用IC 溫度感應
器的成本並不必然高於熱敏電阻。 另一方面,隨著溫度感應器製程技術不斷推陳出
新,廠商也得以降低生產成本。例如,美國國家半導體最近推出的LM19,其價格就
足以與熱敏電阻媲美。
